All these Data Recovery tools on the market, and I have never found one that does what it claims it can do. And here is another one... installed and couldn't find any music files I deleted off my hard drive last week. Thanks anyways GAOTD.

I wanted this software to work, as I accidentally deleted a thread of messages on my iphone 5 last week (why does Apple make it so easy to delete the whole thread, without a confirmation??). It installed and registered fine, but it will not recognize my device. The iphone 5 is listed as a supported model and my device connects fine to my computer and iTunes recognizes it fine. Bummer!

maybe give it a little time. i've found with some of these apps that at first it says it doesn't recognize my device, but then it does a little crunching, and there is my device. sooo...try it again, but wait a little while.

For iDevices running Apple iOS 8.2 and EARLIER, this is a GREAT application. Unfortunately, for iDevices with iOS 8.3 and newer, Apple Corporation has rendered this application less than useful.
