As I recall, this is basically a keylog type program. this means, for it to do what it says, you have to install every program, even the OS, at least once for it to be able to copycat the install. So, for the private.. individual user, this would mean scrubbing your sys and reinstalling everything. No thank you.

I can`t say I really see the need for this type of software. Disc imaging software is far better. Macrium Reflect free version is superb for disc images and works brilliantly, enabling me to restore a computer to its original state.

I downloaded this the last time it was given away.

AT first it can seem a little awkward to use but if you persevere then it has great use.

It is not really for the casual user but if you are somebody that is often installing OS's and software again and again and would like to cut the time it takes to do so then the automation that Multiset offers is invaluable.

The developers could perhaps put a few practical video tutorials on their site to both show it's real potential and to give users both an initial leg up and incentive to explore more.

As mentioned earlier, for the average user, disk imaging is the way to go in order to safeguard against disaster recovery.

#3, David: Thats fine for one machine. What happens if you want to install some software on multiple machines?
This software is great, until an unexpected dialog pops up, or the screen doesn't appear in the right place. It can cause awful problems, as the software blindly presses buttons (a bit like how my parents use their computer...)
AutoIT is better. Its free, and works via window captions, screen controls, etc. It can be much better programmed, scripts edited, etc. Its a bit steeper learning curve, but the end results are much better.

Wow... again? When GAOTD gave this software away some time ago I didnt quite realise its immense abilities and importance until much later. Folks, if there is a must have software, especially with the comments some have made about losing softwares when formating their systems and such stuffs, then this is it. It truly does what it says it does! Not many options out there and even the existing options can t compete with this in terms of user friendliness and functionality. The developers should however make their user manual page simpler language. I personally would like to be a distributor in my area and country. Nice one guys and I appeal to all ... INSTALL this one!!!!
