Hi to everyone! I like converters so I tried this one.
Installation:
Easy, without problem on W7PRO x64.
Registration:
Hmmmm. I had a small problem with connection through my firewall,
so activation code I received via WWW.
Test:
1. FullHD movie 1920x1080 to Divx 85% 720x404. Poor quality, not acceptable!
2. The same input, to Divx HD 1920x1080. Same result.
I can compared this with my other conversion which I prepared last time made by WinX HD Converter.
So WinXHDC is much better.

So my decision is uninstall this software and forget it.

Of course, like someone wrote before, you can try very good alternative free programs.

$20 USD is about the going rate for a good video converter. I decided to try and convert a .avi kids movie for my wife's Sony Xperia Play Android phone. I looked up the supported formats shown here:
MPEG-4 Visual Simple Profile,
Advanced Simple Profile Level 6
3GPP (.3gp), MP4 (.mp4)
H.264 High Profile Level 3.1 3GPP (.3gp), MP4 (.mp4)
H.263 Profile 0, Profile 3 Level 70 3GPP (.3gp)

I was not able to find any that fit those formats perfectly so I went with Mobile MP4 (352x288) It converted fast played fine (tested it with a media player on my PC) but will not be able to test it on the phone tonight.

The trick to finding the perfect video converter is finding one that does everything I need including cropping, editing, changing resolution to custom size, flipping video shot sideways and then fixing 'Vertical Video Syndrome' (Nice / funny video on youtube about that syndrome), adding text, watermarks, removing watermarks, etc. It seems like I always have to use more than one to get all the jobs done. I am glad to add this to my collection. Solid program.

Well Video/Audio converter is a pretty much saturated field in my view....so it doesn't make sense charging money for programs like this GAOTD, unless their developers provides users with outstanding features which cannot be found in FREEWARE ALTERNATIVES.

Unfortunately it looks like this is NOT the case as far as this GAOTD is concerned!!

BEST FREE (and more effective) ALTERNATIVES, besides FORMAT FACTORY, FREEMAKE VIDEO CONVERTER and IWISOFT FREE VIDEO CONVERTER:

Why this awesome app is FREE is something going far beyond human understanding, especially if you compared it with poorer shareware alternatives like today's giveaway.

Hope the developer of MEDIA BUDDY has learned a lesson from Prof Giovanni today ...LOL!!

That may be true but, faster doesn't always equate to better. Usually, slower will produce better quality (not always the case but, most often is). The same is true for burning.
