You could try free AOMEI Partition Assistant to resize partition without losing data, in addition, it supports to move, merge, split, copy, format, delete partition as well as create bootable media, migrate OS to SSD, convert NTFS and FAT32, create Windows To Go.

Good on you GOAT, deleted my post again. It's very important for viewers to your site know about uploads with malware. You are doing your viewers a big dis-service by keeping the real facts from them..

Besides the Facebook thing that makes me sick, there is no non-sense reason to buy $40 from an unknown (by me) competitor in the partition management market already filled with great free products. Among them MiniTools and AOMEI are frequently offered here -- they also have a free version.
Those who really want to try this GOTD should investigate whether it can align partition on cylinder or 4K sectors (e.g. GPT disks, especially from Western Digital). I may be wrong but I think XP prefers alignment on cylinders, otherwise fdisk complains. Of course, it is possible to align on both, but it's another story, strictly reserved for _very_ experimented users who know how to manage _and_ repair partitions manually.

Windows handles partition resizing very well in most cases, and Mini Tool Partition Wizard also does a great job, including "alignment" if i'm not mistaken. It's hard to see why we need today's giveaway ....

starvinmarvin, what makes this giveaway very useful is the fact you can "grow" a primary partition on the same drive that contain subsequent partitions without having to wipe-out and re-create the additional partitions after the fact. e.g. My "C" drive was almost out of free space and I was able to extend its size without re-partitioning, similar to what Partition Magic used to accomplish for me. The Windows Logical Drive manager doesn't contain the ability to perform that task.
