Installing this was no end of trouble.
I probably had extra trouble because I had the old GotD version of today's offer already installed. Even so, they could have just let the .gcd file do it on its own like the better installing products we have come to expect.
This version requires a visit to their web page to register and then you get the key. But your troubles are only beginning!
You next have to install and read thru a lengthy scrolling agreement. and you had better watch out for check boxes that you might miss.
The real problem shows up when the program does not show up!
- you see the GotD activator on the task bar but can't get the window to open, I finally went to "C:\Program Files\AV WebCam Morpher" and ran it from there. THAT opened the registration box showing my old registration code and I copy/pasted the new one from their web site there and was told program must be restarted.
Then a window told me the program could not be restarted and then it crashed and restarted with a error box that said:
"vcs.common.error"
"vcs.core.error.damaged"
And that was it - dead as a doornail.
Since this also installed some sort of webcam emulator driver, I don't know how to clean up the mess.
...And I still have the GotD Software Informer Activator,
dead in my taskbar and can't get it to open in a window or go away.

Be afraid. Be VERY afraid!
Just what is AVNEX software? When I went to install this, I got a message telling me I need to close AVNEX software first before installing this. Yet I've never heard of AVNEX software before, there's nothing named AVNEX in task manager running processes, and I don't know how I'm supposed to close something that apparently doesn't even exist on my computer.
total and utter rubbish. this one fails to even get past the starting line for the price alone. shabby build and even if you get it working, expect trouble. you have been warned
Looked really interesting and was looking forward to trying it out but - installed on XP sp3 and crashes every time on starting the program. No specific error code just 'encountered a problem'.
Downloaded and installed fine on Win 8. That was the best part. The program did not work. I double checked my camera and it was working fine. I made sure the same camera "HP 101" was selected. When I chose another camera I got colored bars. I only have one camera so I don't know what that second camera represents. I'll wait to hear if everyone else is having problems with this one before I uninstall it. Sounded like it may be interesting to use but would never pay a cent for this. Sixty Dollars, are they kidding?
