I'm not a big screen saver fan, as I seldom use one, an therefore I wouldn't have much use for this software. No thumbs up or down, from me, but thanks anyway GOTD and Playrix Entertainment.
GOTD is a great website for those of us with little money to pay for every piece of software that we would like have. I've downloaded and still use quite a lot of software from GOTD. Not all have been gems but I don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I simply uninstall and wait for the next "Hidden Gem."
A BIG THANKS TO GOTD AND THE GENEROUS SOFTWARE VENDERS, for giving all of us the opportunity to download what we may, otherwise, not be able to afford.

The program installed fine on Windows 7 Ult 64-bit. Runs fine and is customizable.
Cool little screen saver for Halloween. Very nice graphics - not cheesy looking, imho.

This is an Astro Gemini screensaver which GOTD hasn't offered previously, I suspect because it's not compatible with some video drivers, such as my nVidia drivers. As with most Astro Gemini offerings, it's old code with primitive graphics, but it installed cleanly on Win7x64. In between the incompatible graphics flashes, I could see enough that this is an OK Halloween offering, but I could do without the chimney fireworks. A previous GOTD vendor, 3Planesoft, has a very good Haunted House screensaver for Halloween, although I liked the original version better, but it was more horror-film than Halloween, which is probably why they changed it.

Installed very easily on Vista 64-bit.
It looks pretty good and I watched it for a while. I wouldn't pay $10 for it, but if I were in a screensaver mood, $5 wouldn't be unreasonable.
The term "screensaver" is outdated and tends to put off those uppity computer people. Yes, we know you don't have to save your screen anymore, no need for an immediate thumbs down. Screensavers tend to be more for people passing by than for the user, why point out that you don't sit around watching your screensaver?
Maybe call it something else, an "Idle Mode Something-or-other".
I'll keep it but probably won't use it. I prefer a plain black screen for my Idle Mode Something-or-others.

#6: "Screen saver just does not work."
FWIW mileage varies depending on graphics hardware & level of D3D support.

#11: "I cannot select it as my screensaver ... The screensaver previews perfect... "
1 option you could try would be to right-click the .scr file & select Install.
Another option would be to locate "3D Spooky Halloween Screensaver.scr" -- it should be in Windows' system folder -- optionally copy or cut & paste it wherever you like, & rename it making sure it has an .exe extension. Now create a shortcut to that newly renamed file -- copy -> paste shortcut works -- right-click the shortcut, select properties, & on the "Shortcut" tab add "/s" (without the quotes) to the very end of the command line listed as Target [add it outside the existing quotes]. Double clicking the .exe file opens the configuration window -- create a 2nd shortcut for that if you like. The 1st shortcut you created will run the screensaver.

#15: "a bit cheesy rendering, but the biggest problem was it switched off by itself three times in a row in exactly the same moment."
In case it helps, I've had that happen with quite a few screensavers unless I uncheck the box to "Exit on Mouse move"
